2007 we could increase the purchase quantities with our suppliers due to strong production increases. Also in 2008 we expect in all material-groups increases, depending upon group it can mean up to 25 % .
This situation permits our long-term suppliers to increase the delivery volumes at Umdasch again by appropriate quality, delivery reliability and price. Also enterprises which did not supply at us yet have the possibility, to qualify as supplier.
The market, in which we move, is very active, partly depending on weather, releases of projects, geographical conditions etc. Our enterprise must adapt therefore very rapidly to the conditions of the market on the part of production – the purchasing quantities subject to great fluctuation. We demand from our suppliers a flexible entrance to our delivery desires and short, reliable delivery times.
For that purpose you need a well organized logistics, a flexible manufacturing and an adequate capacity of material, machines and personal. We strive, to support you with appropriate planning of purchase as well as yearly planning, tumbling central period planning, also skeleton agreements with fixed capacities and replacement times.
